CSU Lab Got Breakthrough In Cost of Electric-car Batteries To Market

A company created in Colorado State University laboratories is preparing to enter a potentially lucrative market to provide batteries for electric vehicles.Amy Prieto, an assistant chemistry professor in CSU's College of Natural Sciences, has developed technology that can be used to produce batteries that are more powerful for Sony battery, longer-lasting and cheaper than lithium-ion rechargeable batteries now available.

Two Volunteers To Head Local Relay For Life

Jen Minard and Danika Sanchez, two volunteers with a multi-year history with the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life, have been named co-chairs for the 2010 SCV Relay, scheduled for May 22-23 at Central Park of Dell battery. Monthly committee meetings and team captain meetings are underway to prepare for the event, which brings thousands of walkers raising funds to fight cancer in all of its forms.

HP Offer Scaling To Help Business And Telecommunications
